WHO WE ARE

Covenant Ministries is a ministry based on the biblical teaching of Jesus Christ the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob the one true living God of the Old and New Testaments. We are Christ’s feet and hands in loving and supporting Israel and the Jewish people.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible – We believe the Bible, as expressed in the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, that it is the complete revelation of God’s will, and that it is absolutely authoritative in governing the affairs of men.

God – We believe that there is only one true and living God and that He is the creator and ruler of the universe. We believe that God has eternally existed in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that all three are completely co-equal.

Jesus/Yeshua – We believe the Jesus (in the Hebrew, Yeshua) is the Messiah foretold in Scripture, and that He took on Himself the nature of a man, through the virgin birth, in order that He might fulfill God’s promise to redeem His people for His own glory.

We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life and in perfect obedience to the Law, died as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, rose again to life on the third day, and ascended into heaven, where He ever lives to make intercession for all who have put their faith in Him alone, as their Redeemer.

We believe that Jesus will one day return to earth to fulfill His promises to His followers and to restore His Kingdom here on the earth, as prophesied in Scripture.

Holy Spirit – We believe that the Holy Spirit is working in the world today in the lives of believers to impact the eternal Kingdom of God. We believe that He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and that He is Counselor, Guide, and Comforter to every believer, sealing them until they reach heaven, and bestowing gifts upon them in order that they might do His will.

The Church – We believe that the Church does not replace Israel as God’s covenant people, but rather, acting also as the elect of God, have a responsibility to preach the Gospel to the Jew first, and also to the whole world.

Israel – We believe that Israel exists today as a covenant people, chosen by God to show His faithfulness to His word. We believe that God continues to accomplish His purposes through Israel and that we will one day see the Salvation of Israel in fulfillment of the Scriptures.
